First of all, you need to decide where in Liverpool you want to stay. The surrounding suburbs such as Wallasey, Bootle, Fairfield, Anfield and West Derby have great places to stay – especially bed & breakfasts – that won't cost an arm and a leg. The City Centre is trickier.
